Backpack for swimming towel and packlunch

DDs daycare is going to the pool twice a week on public transport this summer. She needs some kind of bag that would hold a smallish swimming towel and a packed lunch- and she has to be able to carry it herself!

Any suggestions, I looked at the LL Bean Junior on line but wasn't sure whether that would fit a towel, what do you think.

Not positive that this would work, but I just saw a Thermos brand insulated sling pack that can also be a backpack at Target with the coolers. It would keep the lunch cool and I think there would be room for a small towel. It's compact in design. There was a cute turquoise and brown pattern as well as a charcoal one. Good luck.

If you call the outlets, the Hanna Andersson Beach Pack is on sale for $14. The matching lunchbox is $5 or $6.

I haven't seen it IRL yet, but it looks like it might work.

I saw these backpack towels at Bed Bath and Beyond today. There might be enough extra room in the bag part to hold a small lunch box. Might be worth a look:
