bumbo seat tray question...

I have the bumbo and tray for DS. The tray is really hard to get on the chair. You definitely need both hands and it doesn't slide on easily- I have to move the bumbo "arms" into the correct place so the tray will fit on. Is this normal or is something weird with my bumbo seat? It's kind of annoying!! Thanks!

I have the same problem, so I assume that moving the "arms" is normal. I have to be extra careful because one time I almost fitted the tray over my DD's little fingers. Good thing I didn't use brute force to fit it in. The tray seems like a poor design to me. My DD is able to push it out. I would return it, but I threw out the packaging and am not sure where the receipt went.
