I found this great wooden stool at HomeGoods the other day for my son. It has an old time truck on the top and is done in faded primary colors. I am getting ready to do his "big boy" room and would love to find some bedding to coordinate with it. I have looked through a bunch of catalogs and can't seem to find anything. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Ann

I would just go with solid colored bedding and find other accessories to match.

Do you sew? I don't really, just buttons and putting patches on DS' jeans, but there are ways to make your own patches (appliques) that you could sew (or hot glue!) onto throw pillows and go with the pp suggestion of using solid bedding. I'm still researching these ideas as there are a million craft blogs out there that can help. You might also look at some fabric stores and see if there is material that matches your idea - sheets and pillowcases aren't too hard to sew (I made a pillowcase so if I can do it, anyone can.)

PBK has a cute old-time truck bedding set in red/blue. They paired it with a star quilt, so you could certainly use a solid one to last beyond your DS's truck decor down the road.

Here are two more (I'm sure they are sold at other places, not sure if this is the best deal)

Thanks for all the suggestions. The one at PBK looks just like the truck on the stool, so I am going to take a look at that one.

Thanks again!
