Target had a cool Batman swimming set which had a batman mask & fins which squirt water. My 3 yr old loves it in the bath & the pool

My DS (5) got the Spiderman walkie takies for his birthday and he was less than impressed. You really couldn't understand the other person when they were talking and he was getting frustrated.

Just my 2 cents

I second the disappointment in the batman walkie talkies. They don't work like they should.

ditto on the walkie talkies. grandma was so excited to give the spiderman/sandman walkie talkie set, but it doesn't work well at all.

my 3+ year old loves the spiderman masks, maybe you could get a cool mask and a black playsilk to be the cape. Also, marshalls had a batman book with 4 stories in it. my 5 year old really likes that, but luckily can read it himself so I don't have to read about mr. freeze and whoever else is in there. And, we did get a 14 inch tall moveable, talking spiderman. That was a bigger hit.

I didn't plan on my boys being superhero fanatics. Oh well. could be worse things !

good luck !

Its by scholastic books - a "special value" reader collection of four batman adventure stories level 3.

The only reason I know this is because it surfaced yesterday and DS found it and started reading it again.

It is a little older than I realized - I just picked it up cause he loves batman and he's always looking for new things to read. Don't know that I would have gotten it had I looked at it more carefully - but he does love it though. (stories are time thaw, the copycat crime, the mad hatter, and the purr-fect crime). I don't read it to his 3 year old brother.

I do know that the black playsilks we used as batman's cape were hits with the boys and their cousins.
