First I just wanted to thank anyone and everyone who has ever posted about a washer and dryer. I found the searches of previous posts invaluable and I am so happy with my new Bosch 500!!!!!!!!!
I never knew my clothes could be so clean!!! My 15 year old machine was great but man am I happier with the Bosch. Thanks everyone, but of course there is the inevitable question...
I washed a pair of my husbands tennis shoes and they died... I mean came apart in the washing machine died. I washed them on the "Xtrasaintary" (SP) cycle, I love this cycle, even though it takes forever. When I opened the washer this morning they had literally come apart, the soles were separated from the shoe. Thank goodness they were old and DH could use some new ones but is this typical? I used to wash my girls shoes and mine in our 15 year old White Westinghouse, but now I am afraid to. Do I just need to use a gentler cycle or just not do it at all...
Any one else killed some tennis shoes out there???
