For her 2nd birthday, we got her a play kitchen and a little table and chairs set. Through the year, we got more accessories for the kitchen and a tea party set. She plays with those every day.

Throughout the year, she has also enjoyed arts and crafts (painting, stickers, scissors, playdough), doing floor puzzles, reading books, and playing dress-up.

My DD LOVES her Fisher Price "My first Dollhouse." The people are big and easy to pose. She's played with it every day for about a year. She also loves her Aquadoodle and play doh. She also got a sandbox for her 2nd birthday that she loves and uses every day. HTH!

Anything Little People. Mia loves carrying around her pony. :)

She also is permanently attached to her big Magnadoodle. She even takes it to bed with her. Really.

My daughter turns 2 next month and I'd been wanting to get her some new toys anyway. It's so hard to figure out what she'd actually like. Any suggestions? Is there a toy/game/activity that your 2-year-old likes a lot?

Thanks for any advice.

Purses, diaper bags and other things to carry her stuff in
Things to carry her babies in (slings, strollers, carseats)

DD plays with her kitchen daily.

We also play a lot of Little People and doll stuff. And dress-up.

But her LOVE right now is cars. We have a mat with streets and her few cars and that is all she is wanting to play for the past few weeks. It's getting a little crazy here.

Thanks for the suggestions. We ended up getting "My First Dollhouse" and she loves it! (Even my 4-year-old son likes it.) FYI, the new ones don't make any noise; the old ones took batteries and the doorbell and phone made ringing sounds. The box still says it does this, but in fact it does not. I called Fisher-Price and they said the toy was changed but apparently not the boxes. Anyway, it's probably less annoying for me that way anyway.
