We have them and have since DD was about 18 months old...she's 3 now. To be honest, she doesn't care for them. I've put them away for a while and brought them back a few times and her only real interest in them is that they are small enough to put in her tea kettle and make tea with. I find them in her kitchen nearly every time. She likes using wooden beads and strings but these are a total waste on DD.

Ironically, i picked up some freecycle stuff today and asked the woman if she had lacing beads too. She gave me these ! :) I'll post to see what dd thinks about them.
