I am looking for a play mat/gym toy for my 9 week old. Does anyone have any recommendations for ones that are particulary good? Thanks!

We have the gymini tiny love lights and music one and dd loves it! We kept it up all the time and she loved laying on it. It cost about $60, but I know they have one that's all black, white and red for about $40. The gymini ones are great because the toys come on and off and we use the toys on the stroller and carseat too. You can also substitute other toys.

HTH!

I would recommend any tiny love mat. We took the music part (that is removable) out of ours as the music drives me crazy!!! Our 3 month old doesn't even seem to care that we took it out. If I had to do it over I buy the cheaper one without music. Checkout the Tiny Love site there are many different mats that they sell in a variety of price ranges.

I just saw one out by Boppy. It's the full-size round play mat with a small boppy pillow for the infant to lean on, then it has the bar with dangling toys. No music and lights. It was $60. I thought it was pretty cool.

DS absolutely loved his Baby Einstein play mat. We bought it at BRU but Target and TRU also had it.

We ended up getting theTiny Love lights and Music, and DD loves it. So does her 2 year old sister. I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not? Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
