Looking for a DINOSAUR book for my son!

Trying to find a Dinosaur book for my 2.5 year old son. I would like the
book to be a fictional story with realistic-looking dinosaurs. (If the dinosaurs
are too cartoony and unrealistic, then he won't like it.)

They are cartoony but my little guy likes the Byron Barton Dinosaurs,Dinosaurs board book!

Do you have any of the How Do Dinosaurs ______ series books? The Author is Jane Yolen. We have Clean their rooms, learn their colors, count to ten. my 6 year old and my 2 year old like them, they are board books!

The "How do Dinosaurs..." books are the $5 books and stuffed toys at Kohls right now. I already had the books but I bought DS two of the stuffed Dinos, so cute.

mine LOVED a book called "dinosaur time"

It is a small paperback, and it isn't really fictional, but it was geared towards very young children. It was his favorite last summer when he was almost 2.5.

Long long ago, the earth was covered with water. It was warm all the time. and dinosaurs were EVERYWHERE. There were big dinosaurs and small dinosaurs. Some ate plants and some ate meat.

Apotosaurus....Stegasaurus. Etc.

Both him and my 5 year old like the "how do dinosaurs" series, but this book was the "it" book for months.

I bought 2 out of the 3 dinosaur books. I would have gotten them all but they
didn't have one. My son was very excited!!
