We've decided to have a bowling party for DS's 4th birthday and I need favor ideas. I prefer to give out one or 2 nice favors rather than a grab bag of cheap plastic junk. Most of the kids attending have younger siblings 15m and younger so definitely nothing chokable. This rules out the mini bowling game.

Some of my ideas so far:
- customized t-shirts with iron-on transfers
- a large bowling themed cookie
- a plastic trophy filled with candy or above mentioned cookie

That's pretty much it. Anyone have any better ideas? Thanks!

I don't think I would ever dress my ds in the t-shirt but it's a neat idea. :) I'm sure I am not the norm on this. The other 2 are good ideas. I especially like the trophies.

Not wowwed by their favors here but it might offer some other ideas (I do like the bowling stickers and coloring book):

How about a gift certificate for a round of bowling for the kids to use at another time?

Not sure what your price range is, but you could buy the Little Tikes Bowling set and give each child a Bowling Pin to take home.

We have the set at home and the Pins are plastic and see through. Inside there are smaller balls so they can also be played with like a noisemaker. You can probably decorate the pins as well or personalize them with Paint Markers since they are clear.

We did these: I ordered them and then personalized them for each kiddo. We also had little bowling gift bags made by a lady on ebay. I can't find the link now, but if I do, I'll post it.
We ordered our bowling pin sippers from Birthday Express: http://www.celebrateexpress.com/celebration/pages/products/product_bd.aspx?SKU=E5283&TabID=4294967232&keycode=ECA-293&mr:trackingCode=4FC58F32-6A38-DC11-9D0E-000423C27502&mr:referralID=NA

I also made a bowling lane cake. The instructions were from familyfun.com

This is the ebay seller who made me the bowling bags. I don't see any listed now, but she may have some fabric left. Her prices were reasonable and she was very nice to work with.

Last wk I went to world market and they had these adorable kid sized wooden bowling sets (I think they had animal faces for the bowling pins), that were multicolored on clearance for only 99 cents per set!!! I got two of them. I think the orig price was either $5 or $6. My kids are still a little young for them, so I put them away in the basement. If you have a world market, it would be worth checking into. They had a few sets back in the toy section, but I did not realize they were on clearance until I saw a different bin of 99 cent toys closer to the front of the store with all of the other sale bins.
