Can someone explain the Sigg lids to me??

I am trying to understand the tops of the Sigg kids' bottles. When you pop the cap off of the kids' bottle, is there some sort of sip spout, or is it just open? Did that make ANY sense, lol?? I am having a hard time explaining this! I need some bottles that will not spill everwhere when opened. Does Sigg make a sports-bottle top for the kids' bottles?? Any chance they make a straw cup???

I can't seem to post a direct link, but if you go to the Sigg website, select English, then Products, then Accessories, then Tops, they show a picture and explanation of the tops.

The spout is under the cap. You can twist the spout to open and close it. I ended up taking the cap off because it kept hitting my son in the nose when he drank out of the bottle.
