I'm looking for a thin, small cooler that's PVC free. I always bring a cooler with me when I'm out for most of the day with DD's since she's a picky eater, and I've been using one from One Step Ahead that they no longer carry -- but the coolers they do carry now have PVC and I can only assume that this one does too. I LOVE the small, thin size of it, but want to go PVC free. I just ordered DD's school lunch cooler from LL Bean, and it's PVC free, but too big for what I need. Anyone know where I can purchase one -- either online or in a store? THANKS!!!

Ok, thought I'd post to say that I found one by California Innovations at Bed, Bath and Beyond for $4.99 called the Hi-Top Munchsak. It specifically says that it's "Ultra-Safe" and passed the lead safe detection system. It zips completely closed on the top, or if you don't want to zip it, you can use the velcro and just velcro it closed. I got the red/gray version. This is the product, but I can't find it on BBB online ...

I want to look into the Built NY hungry tote (and they also have the larger size called the Gourmet Getaway), but I have the thirsty tote by Built NY and I don't think it would stay dry on the outside if I put an ice pack inside of it. My Thirsty Tote is always moist when my sippy is "sweating," and I don't want to put DD's lunch in the tote without an ice pack b/c we're out for longer than the four hours it says it's good for.

HTH someone!

Edited to add:

I decided on trying these two lead free options ...

Skip Hop Single Bottle cooler: (I saw it in real life, and it will be perfect to hold a few cheese sticks and some turkey and grapes in a ziplock which is I all I bring with me)

and I pre-ordered this small, lead free cooler:

Those Munchler lunch bags are adorable! I like that they are made of recyclable polypropylene, and unfold flat into a placemat, according to the Built NY website.

I already have folding Orikaso dinnerware (http://orikaso.com/), so a flat fold lunchbox for DS would be cool! ;) Thanks for sharing.
