Will a PBK retail store price-match their website?

Theres a toy that I want for DS that's full price in store but on sale on their site. Will they honor the online price?

Not in my experience. I tried to price match a chess set earlier this year. I tried to do it over the phone and then again later in person. It was something like 2x or 3x the price at the store. The store only had one left and the website had 100's, or so I was told. I bought it online, and proceeded to buy a lot more stuff too!

I was told at the store that the website is a completely different part of the company and they are not supposed to price-match; however, the store did do it for me "this one time" because I had called ahead and whoever I spoke with told me yes, they will match.

If you want to try, I would call first and get the name of the person who tells you yes.

I know Williams-Sonoma (same company) did for me one time; maybe I just lucked out with my sales associate. I just printed out the website and she honored the price.
