I currently have a Fisher Price sounds/lights monitor and it works sometimes, but has a lot of static and doesn't go far. I also bought the Graco one ($40), can't remember specifically what it's called, but it has two receivers. The Graco model does not have as much static, but it only works sometimes, and won't work at all with just the batteries. I need a good monitor that we can take outside with us that works on batteries or plugged in. Our bedroom is on the other side of the house so I want something dependable. I've heard people mention a Sony monitor, but the non-baby related products I have at home that are Sony aren't that great so I wanted to make sure. What can you recommend that's reliable? I don't even care if I spend $100 anymore- I just want something that works. Thanks!
