Hi everyone!
Wanted to get a game as a birthday gift for a 4 yr old boy. Thought of Hullabaloo. Is it your favorite for this age or are there other great ones out there for this age that I should consider? Hoping to shop this weekend so any opinions would be greatly appreciated!!

TIA-

Hullabaloo is great! We just bought Cariboo and that has been fun too.

Other ideas:
Memory
Jr. Labyrinth
this card game called I Have (bought it at an independent game store)

My dd loves Hi Ho Cheerio. She also likes the Dora Candyland.

We have Hullababoo in the closet and it is a future gift for her. I would love to hear how 4 year olds do with the Hullabaloo.

Robyn-
We already have Hullabaloo for DS and he LOVES it, that's why I was considering giving it as a gift. It's fun, teaches shapes, colors, animals, foods, etc and gives them a chance to practice listening skills while moving around. My younger DS likes to "try" and play too although he often just moves to whichever pad he feels like :-) I would recommend it if you don't have it! Thanks for the suggestions of the other games. I'll head out shopping tomorrow or Monday to see what I can find!

If you go through the archives, you'll see Zingo mentioned over and over! I bought it, but we haven't tried it yet.

One of DS1's favorites that hasn't been mentioned is Hiss.

Ooh, I'm glad to hear a + review of Hiss. I have almost bought this a few times. Guess I'll pick it up for a stocking stuffer this year. Thanks!

The most long lasting game that our family has is Guess Who. You can start playing it about age 4 and it will go through the teen years.
