I'm going to check these out at the store, but I am wondering if anyone has them and can comment on their play-ability. I am only interested in the high chair and crib. The crib seems a little small as I was hoping more than one doll would fit. The high chair also seems a little small, so I am thinking some dolls may not fit?

I definitely want either wood or metal. I have not found any other metal ones. I did search the archives but didn't see much more to consider. Maybe the Zapf or the one that was at Costco.

We only have the ironing board from that collection -- so I can't exactly answer your question, but I can say that it is very durable. Sturdy metal with thick, glossy enamel coating. I have seen the other pieces in the store and they look like fun to me. Are you in the Chicago area? We picked up the ironing board at the outlet -- you might want to check there first if you can.

Good point. I am usually disappointed in the outlet, but it's probably worth a try for this much $. I think I will call first and see if they can check stock. Thanks!

Where is the Land of Nod outlet store? I live in Chicago, and I've never heard about it.

Thanks!

It's in Northbrook. I have been disappointed in it in the past, but I was usually hoping to find something specific. I also have not been there for a while, so maybe it is better now. I think they have special sales, so you might want to sign up for their mailing list.

OK, I went today. As far as selection, it was better than I remembered. However, some of the stuff is pretty dinged up and the stuff that is not is still pretty pricey, IMO. I think it's the kind of place you need to go to often in order to score.

I was also thinking about getting my DD the Land of Nod doll furniture for Christmas. If you do end up going to the store would you mind posting about the quality? It is so hard to tell from just the picture. I also want to get wood or metal so let me know if you find other good products!

Thanks for your help!

I am going to LON on Saturday, so will report back then. These are some others I found:

It's also available as a set, though I don't really like the looks of this crib:

They had a different crib on the Costco website a few days ago, but it's gone now. I went to Costco today and did not see any doll furniture.

I am also going to check out an Amish furniture store. I want something classic but not *too* simple, IYKWIM. I am thinking these are toys I might save. I would prefer a natural wood crib, but so many of them are painted white. I wish my niece was done with our old crib and high chair!

Great thanks! I know what you mean, many of the wood options seem to be white. I did find this high chair and crib at Lakeshore Learning in a natural wood finish.

I went today. I did not love the high chair. It seemed like the opening might be too small for bigger dolls and the tray does not move at all, so no wiggle room. It also just felt a little too plain and looked better in the picture online than IRL. Overall disappointing. I liked the cradle/crib better but am still undecided.

Are you still looking for a crib? Here are a few natural ones that I had linked. I mostly had cradles and not cribs bookmarked because I thought it would be easier for my DD. I actually wanted white so I ended up getting DD the PBK cradle for Christmas. Good luck on your search.

I wound up winning a vintage metal high chair on Ebay. Here is another one ending soon:

The condition looks really good!
