I've got a blank wall section in between the breakfast nook and kitchen that I'd like to set something up to display DS's art work. He's been asking to hang them up and the fridge is (1) completely papered with his art that it's a fire hazard and (2) DD keeps pulling them down from the fridge and eating it.

I thought about using those fabric boards with the ribbons but that seems more geared towards photos not 9x12 sheets of construction paper. The wall is in a well traveled area so I can't have anything that sticks out too much.

What are you all doing? And can you post some pictures?? Thanks!

Sorry, not pictures, but I have a big black framed cork board that I got from Target to pin up my daughter's art work. I only pin up her favorite ones and will replace them with new ones periodically. I keep her nice retired artwork in a flat plastic container.
