View Full Version : Which infant tub would fit in the bathtub with a toddler at the same time?

I'm trying to figure out which infant tub would work best for us. We bathe our two year old DS every night as a part of his bedtime routine. I would occasionally like to be able to bath the new baby in the same tub. I do need a separate infant tub for the other times since our sink is super tiny.

I had borrowed a tub when DS was little. Sadly that tub is no longer available (I don't recall the brand either). I don't want something huge. What tubs should I look at?

I apologize upfront for the facts in this post being vague... That said I have seen a gizmo that goes in a regular tub that is a frame with no slip feet and a mesh sling for bathing little ones. You use the regular tub water--there is no basin ---Am I making sense? I am sure you could bathe a sibling with this thing in the tub. I have no idea what it's called and don't remember exactly where I saw it--maybe One Step Ahead.

I think I know what you're talking about. I am looking for a tub with a basin though for those times when I'm bathing just the baby. I don't want to fill up the big tub!

Hi Caroline!!!

Well, we use the EURObath...but it is gigantic. Both kids fit safely in it...and it fits under Tess' crib when we are not using it...

Thanks Rachel! I just checked it out. It might work for us. I don't think I'm going to find a tub that will allow my older DS to sit in the big tub at the same time.

Is this the kind of thing you are looking for?

http://www.amazon.com/Summer-Infant-MotherS-Deluxe-Bather/dp/B000G22Y88/ref=sr_1_15/002-2531133-4427244?ie=UTF8&s=baby-products&qid=1191215590&sr=1-15

There are a couple of different models at Amazon in the Baby Tubs section. Good luck!

That looks cool, but I actually need a tub with a basin. Thanks anyway!

I can put both of my kids in the baby tub from Ikea.
