ISO a good quality wooden parking garage toy-

I am kicking myself for not buying the wooden parking garage that PBK had last Christmas but at $200, I just couldn't justify it. Instead, I bought this one from Alex Toys http://www.oliebollen.com/detail.aspx?ID=6935&cc=go. Its truly a piece of junk and I am sorry I didn't just spend the money in the first place on the quality one. The only other play garage made of wood I can find is the Plan City one and its just not big enough. Has anyone seen a good quality Wooden Parking Garage?

i think i saw that one on kidsurplus.com. there were a couple other ones as well. i have an old FP one i got on ebay that i need to spruce up a bit. it is a walk down memory lane for sure. it is old though and they can be pricey on ebay.

We love our Plan Toys garage. I think I paid less than $40 at Kidsurplus last Christmas.

My friend has one from Djeko (sp?) it's from Zamiloo city. It is really nice-awesome quality. I think it is a French company. She got from a cute shop in Chicago for about $100. I did a quick search and found them on Amazon. It's not really big, I don't know what size you are looking for but I thought might to check it out. It's a toy that is nice enough to easily be passed down.

I bought DS the Plan City garage last Christmas and he really likes it. I too ordered it from Kids Surplus. It is pretty roomy.

we got the plan city one for our boys for Christmas last year and they each played with it for maybe one day and then pushed it aside. It sat next to the bin with trains and cars and within maybe 1 month the elevator fell off. I was disappointed. I thought they would LOVE it... especially my truck obsessed 1.5 year old. They both showed interrest in the one at the PBK store.... I was bummed they didn't love the plan city one. My little guy did love the wooden cars and trucks we got for it though!

May I ask why you were not happy with the alex parking garage? I got the alex parking garage at TJMaxx on clearance after christmas and if it is really junky, I may just try to sell it on ebay instead of giving it to my kids.
