I'm looking for simple puzzles for my 2 yr old son. An OT suggested that people puzzles were good for his age because he already knew where arms legs etc should go.
I just don't know where to buy these?

Any other puzzle suggestions are welcome.

any more specifics? There are some puzzles with really small pegs that are generally considered good among OTs for developing fine motor skills/pincer grasp. They aren't chunky knobs, but instead, more like a really small peg sticking out.

For a 2-3 year old, they would still be somewhat challenging I would think. Is he working more on his fine motor skills or his visual/spatial skills with the puzzle, or is there a need to work on both?

Picture under each part, or no pictures? One big continuous picture or several smaller pics that are separate?

If you can ask her for more details or let us know more if you already know, I can probably come up with some ideas :)

if he's working on getting the visual-spatial end of things w/ a puzzle, this one is simple (3 parts) but no knobs. It would work on sequencing, but I'm not sure if this is the right level of challenge for him or not:

or something like this? (first friends puzzle)

Both sites have some other puzzle ideas. You could always print them out and talk them over with the OT.
