My 19 month old DD is book crazy. She is really into rhyming books and can recite most of her favorites cover-to-cover. She is a ham, and loves imitating sound effects and hearing us pantomime these books as well - books like "Mr Brown can Moo" and "We're going on a Bear Hunt" which have sound effects of wind, mud, snowstorms, clocks, etc. We have lots of books with animal sounds (Moo-Baa and Big Red Barn are faves), but I'm wondering if folks can recommend others with such creaks and pops and whistles or other dramatic sounds that we can check out of the library or buy! Would love to hear your suggestions.

We recommend One Duck Stuck. It's lots of fun to say splish, clomp, pleep, plop, plunk, sloosh, slosh, slink, zing!
