It's starting to get really cold in the mornings here. Are there any good heaters that are toddler friendly and aren't too loud? We need it only in the morning and sometimes to heat up the bathroom before bath time. The central heat in our house is loud and very drying. TIA.

we have two of the Lasko heaters and two fans.

I think it is pretty toddler friendly - if you can train your toddler to not push the buttons...

Hi,

We have two of the Honeywell Safety Sentinel heaters and they've worked out well for us. However, when I was looking for a link, it looks like people at Amazon haven't had the best results overall. So maybe we've just been lucky.

I actually bought one of them on ebay and it didn't work when it arrived. But, I sent it back to Honeywell and they sent me a new one - no need for a receipt or anything. That was over a year ago and it's still works fine.

It's very toddler friendly because it shuts off if there's movement in front of it. Also, the on/off/high/low dial is child-safe. The only thing that my toddler is able to change is the temp setting - which can be kind of annoying.

I like the lasko tower heaters I have (from walgreens) because they are ceramic and don't get warm to touch. One has different temperatures, and they have worked out for me in the past but now for the baby's room, the "70" is too cool and the "75" is too hot. So I need another heater that is safe, works well and doesn't get hot to touch.

I was so disappointed to find that the top rated consumer reports heater (honeywell) has a light that goes on when it gets warm to touch. Like I don't need a light to go on, I just don't want it to get warm to touch at all.
