DD watches very little tv with commercials (PBS & Disney exclusively), however we had the weather on a few weeks ago and there was a commercial for the Rose Petal Cottage and now she wants a dryer and a washer. Since ours are in the basement where she never goes, I'm not sure why, but it's number 2 & 3 of her top 4 wants from Santa.

So, does anyone know of a very inexpensive washer/dryer set? I've thought about how to make them, but I'm not sure they would be up to Santa quality...

Not inexpensive, but cute:

Here's one - I wouldn't say inexpensive:

This one's not expensive but small in scale:

A different small one:

Very cute, definitely expensive:

This wooden one is "only" $89...

We got a Little Tikes Washer/Dryer like this at a consignment store for about $8. We use it in part for storing playsilks and some dress-up clothes. You might try on Craigslist and see if anyone has one they want to sell.

Thank you both for your replies. I actually found the Rose Petal Cottage Washer for less than $30 at Walmart.com and decided that would be the easiest (and is exactly what she wants). I'm going to pair it with a small drying rack. Since she only wants a few things I want to make sure that Santa "listens", even though Mommy may not "approve".

Thanks again.
