I bought a Disney toy castle tonight from The World of Disney, but it seems very overpriced for a plastic castle (though it does look like the real Cinderella's castle) with very tiny Disney Princesses, Princes, and a few other accessories, including a tiny carriage and some trees.

It was $70 bucks, and I know a lot of it is due to buying the Disney name, but now that I'm looking online at castles, they all seem overpriced for what they are.

I can't find a good picture to post, but if you have any castles you have purchased and liked, I would love to know! Especially any geared to include the Disney princesses that the girls are now obsessed over....

I'm getting this one for dd. It's not Disney-themed but the reviewers said their kids used it with their Disney princesses just fine. For things like this, I like to find wooden versions because they are so much more sturdy and look nicer. We have way too much plastic in the house. I really hope someone comes up with a nice Cinderella castle.

ETA: Is this the one you bought? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000PD90D0/ref=pd_luc_00002B000NKH0E6B000PD90D0

I also came up with this one. I'm not a Barbie fan but it looks nice.

I saw that Melissa and Doug castle - it does look nice. I may look into that one too.

No, that wasn't the one I bought, but I will try to find a picture if I can.

I think the more I look, the more I like it, but am interested to hear the replies.

Last week, I saw the Ryan's Room Majestic Castle at Tuesday Morning for $50. I don't think it is very "princess-like" though. More knight-like.

Marcy,
We received that castle as a gift about a year ago, and my girls (especially the 4 year old) love it. It is so $$$$ but they play with it ALL the time. The little ones love the sound and lights. One of my girls dropped it and broke the hinged piece so now it is two separate halves and they still love it!

That is a really cool castle! I love that it comes with all that stuff too! No experience with it though. We just have the Little People and Imaginext castles- no where near as cool. :)
