I have had this easel for awhile - is there an eraser that will work on the white board? My DS uses the Crayola washable markers on this side and I currently have to use a wet paper towel to erase everything. I tried an eraser for dry erase markers and it didn't work. I don't know if it's because of the particular eraser or because we aren't using dry erase markers.

It's because you're not using dry erase markers. I've seen (and bought) some washable dry erase markers at Wal-mart. They are really hard to find elsewhere, and even at Wal-mart, it's hit or miss. Crayola used to make washable dry erase markers, but I haven't seen them in a year or more.

ETA: Here's a link to one brand we've been able to find at Wal-mart on occasion. Not as good as Crayola, but works well: http://www.allartsupplies.com/item.php?articleId=2110

I have an eraser for dry erase markers( don't know what brand but I bought it at a office supply store) and it still doesn't work as well as a baby wipe or a paper towel and water. I bought it with my dry erase markers.

We use dry erase markers. The fatter ones seem to come off easier. The Alex wooden eraser works quite well. I had a cheaper one that I bought at Kmart made specifically for dry erase, I think it was Roseart, and it was total crap. http://tinyurl.com/2wd3yz

Target does sell washable dry-erase markers. If they aren't with the rest of the dry erase stuff, they also have them in the kids workbook area of the book section. I've also seen them at educational supply stores. But I should mention that they are only more washable than regular dry erase markers not very washable in general.
