I would like to purchase the Britax Advantage online but have had no luck locating one. Also, will it fit in my Saturn Wagon? My 6 mos old has outgrown her infant seat in length...she is now 27 1/4 inches and the seat is rated to 26 inches. Her head does not go above the top of the seat, will she be ok for a bit longer? If I cannot find the Advantage soon I will get the Roundabout.

Baby Catalog just added one to their site:
http://babycatalog.com

The list price is $229, however, you can get a 10% discount if you become a member. They are also offering free shipping on this seat.

I hope this helps!

I'm glad I logged on here! I just bought one at Buy Buy Baby, but it cost me $249.99 plus tax. They do honor other competitors' prices though, so I will see if I can get them to agree to honor the online price. They also have them at the Right Start stores but they're charging 259.99 I think. First, your daughter has outgrown her infant seat when one of two things happens - she reaches the weight limit, or there is less than an inch of space between the top of her head and the top of the shell. The length limit they include for seats is overall length, which isn't always a very good indicator of when a child outgrows a seat by height. You want the shell to support her head even if she ramps up the shell towards the front of the car in a frontal crash. So when there is less than an inch of space above her head, move her into a convertible.

I believe that the shell for the Advantage is the same as the shell for the Roundabout. So if you can find a Roundabout in stores near you, you can try it and see if the Advantage will fit. You can also try my database (http://www.carseatdata.org) and see if anyone else has tried the RA in your kind of Saturn.
