SnugRide with a Lexus RX300

Hey folks,
I was just reading an older post and the carseatdata website, and it looks like the SnugRide (which I wanted to buy) doesn't fit well in the center. Seems to fit OK on the passenger side but I think I want the baby in the middle.

Hmmmm... it's supposed to be the best infant carseat with a base.

What other infant carseats I should consider if SnugRide is out of the running?

Or, have you got a SnugRide with the RX300 in the middle that works fine?

Oh, so many decisions we have to make.

In Toby's database, try other similar cars (and search on all car seats for your car). It might be that it is difficult to fit the car seat to the middle position because of a large hump in the seat, in which case you may have to go with the side position.
