I have my twins in Britax Roundabouts. I know that Costco is making retrofit kits that enable you to use their carseats with latch systems on newer cars. We just bought a car w/ latch system, and I'd love to be able to utilize it w/ the Britax seats. Has anyone heard about a Britax retrofit kit or plans for one? Thank you.

Britax has not marketed a LATCH retrofit kit. I have not heard of any plans for them to do so, but it is always possible. Unfortunately, you cannot use kits from other brands on your Britax seat. This is from an FAQ on the Britax site ( http://www.britaxusa.com/education.cfm?id=FFAC531A-B9B3-4135-A32A729EC6B0965E )

"Q. Can I use a retrofit kit from a different manufacturer on my child seat? It seems to work just fine.

A. Absolutely not! The design of the system and angles of attachment could be different enough to cause crash loads that would break the system. Never mix parts from one manufacturer's product to another regardless of how similar they might look."
