My 4 month old son is 27in and 18 lbs. I purchased a marathon for my car (my son's primary seat) and a Graco Comfort Sport for our second car, my husbands Toyota Tacoma (no x-tra cab). The marathon is installed fine but I can not get a secure installation of the CS in the Tacoma. I tried a seat leveler as well as rolled towels but the seat continues to be able to move side to side. Any suggestions for installing the CS or for a seat that will fit better? We are trying to avoid spending the $ for two marathon seats if possible.

If you plan to keep your son rear-facing for maximum safety as long as possible ( http://www.car-safety.org/rearface.html ), there are a couple other options. The Cosco Alpha Omega and Eddie Bauer 3-in-1 have higher weight limits than other convertibles and are taller than average. The Evenflo Vanguard/Victory/Titan are also taller than average. I don't know if any of these models would fit better than your Comfort Sport, though. Good luck!
