Both stores near me are going out of business and they have Britax on sale in the store. I got a non-latch RA for our second seat for $97.99 they sales person thought it was supposed to be $139 but it came up different so she had to give it to me for that price. It was the floor model it had everything still attached (tags) just no box.

Thanks for the post. I scored a major deal on a floor model, too ($97.90 + 10% off). DH can't believe he's going to be driving around with something called "camooflauge." LOL

Thank you for that wonderful advice. I just got back from the only Zany Brainy in our area (DC Metro) that is closing with 3 new, boxed Britax RA's (non-latch)- each for $97 plus change. I am returning the latch version I got from BRU for $230 and the 2 horrible Evenflo Triumph 5's I bought for $120 each (for my husband's and mother's cars) and now have 3 great RA's for less than $300 total!!! That just made my day!!! And, the rest of the merchandise in the store is 30-50% off, too, so scoop up whatever you can at this point. I got a Combi Travel Saavy (also in the box) for $55 for my mom to have. Not bad for a day's work!! Thanks again for the info.

I just took a trip to a Zainy Brainy closest to my house in Massachusetts that appeared to be closing as everything was 30% off. The non latch roundabouts came to $139.00. How did you get 3 new ones in the box for $97??? Please let me know!

Just FYI... This also goes for FAO Schwarz. All the carseats there were 30% off when I was in there today (picking up a 2002 Maclaren Techno XT for $209...)

Hi Belinda,
The one I went to is in Springfield, VA. There may be others that are closing, but that one was the closest to me. Just call a local store and ask them. Also, I called ahead (to the Springfield store) and had them put the car seats on hold for me. You can try that too!
