We are planning 2 long driving trips this spring and fall with our infant son. He will be 6 and 9 months when we take the trips and I am wondering how to keep him entertained. We plan to make lots of stops, but he will still be in his car seat for many hours and I know he won't be sleeping the whole time. I've read here that aftermarket products, including toys, may not be safe. Are there any soft or lightweight car seat toys that might be ok? What about attaching small soft toys with one of those toy straps? Any ideas?
