Would someone be kind enough to explain the different models of the Graco Snugrider to me. I understand there are two basic models, and it's best to get the one with the front adapter.

But why are there SO MANY models and why are the prices so varied? I've seen them from $59 to $109 at BRU?

Is it really just a canopy and a few odds and ends that increases the price?

You really need to read the boxes very carefully to know what you are getting.

There 3 point harness and 5 point harnesses versions.
There are front adjuster models and back adjuster models.
There are models that have neither a canopy or a boot.
There are models with a canopy and no boot.
There are models with a canopy and a boot.
And then there are all the fabric variations...

It is very confusing I agree.

If I were you, I would want to make sure I got a 5 point harness with a front adjuster and a canopy. I basically just didn't care what pattern I had and mine did not "go" with my stroller, but I didn't care.

Just wanted to add that I THINK some of the cheaper models from Target or Walmart do not include the base so they may not really be cheaper.

Also if you are planning to use a Bundle Me type blanket the boot is useless.
