Recommendation of infant car seat for larger baby

Hi. My current infant carseat (Evenflo-On-My-Way)is only good for babies up to 20lbs and 26 inches. My 4 month old is already 17 lbs and 26 inches, but I am reluctant to already give up the convenience of the portable carseat that we can just snap into the universal carseat carrier (Kolcraft). Can anyone recommend a carseat that fits the carrier that capacitates larger babies and will buy me a few more months of this convenience? Thanks.

well there is the Evenflo Portabout.... has the 22lbs 29inches limit I believe! Then there is the COSCO one that goes up to 35 lbs... after 22 lbs you aren't supposed to carry it by the handle anymore though! We had the Century Avanta that had the higher limit like the Evenflo and DS was able to use it till around 8 or 9 months!
