grandma car seat

Can anyone recommend a good grandparents car seat? My daughter is 2 1/2 and almost 30 pounds. My in-laws want to get a seat for their car so we are looking for something not too pricey that will last her through the booster stage if possible. So I guess we need recommendations on a good convertible. Any suggestions?

I gave my parents a Britax Laptop. It's about the only one they can use themselves easily, and take in and out of the car without a hassle. Unfortunately, they are difficult to find and the prices on ebay have been going through the roof as I found when I sold my last one...
