Century Smartfit Plus - lost manual help

i got this car seat in September 2000 but have since lost the manual. Does anyone know what the pound/inches maximum is? I'm guessing 25 inches and 20 pounds? Is it whichever comes first?? Just trying to figure out when to switch my 4 month old son and I can't remember what I did with my first child. caroline

There was a Century SmartFit Plus, and also a SmartFit Plus 22. The latter went to 29 inches and 22 pounds. I would guess that the former may have gone to 27 inches and 20 pounds.

It SHOULD be on one of the stickers on your seat, if it hasn't peeled off yet. Mine is still there and it is the 29 inch / 22 lb limit one. When I bought mine it was with the 4 in 1 stroller/seat middle-line combo. And I bought it in late 1999. (DS was born Jan 2000). HTH!
