? about the Graco CarGo

I was planning on buying one of these but just got an email from a friend who recently purchased one. She's considering taking hers back because the sea belt guides are jsut sewn into the cover and aren't actually attached to the plastic shell. How can that be safe?

It's because those are for comfort only, and play no role whatsoever in restraining the child...and they aren't even necessary if the child fits well without them...check this out, it might make you feel better about the seat.... http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1135
