I know the police dept. will put car seats in the car for you. Will Fire Dept. do the same as well??

Try www.seatcheck.net and/or www.seatcheck.org It may be your fire dept, or a hospital, or an independent tech, too.

Don't forget to ask the person installing your seat if s/he is a *certified* child passenger safety technician. I hear so many stories about cops and firefighters who install seats, but aren't qualified to do so. It could make the difference between life and death, unfortunately.
