do you like it? how old was your kid when you starrted using it?

We got an incredible deal on one and when it arrived, i was shocked by how big it is. I can't imagine DD n it before she's 2 or 3. then i looked at the britax site and they classify it as a "youth" seat.

now i'm thinking maybe we didn't get a deal.

We really like ours. Our son was 4 when we started using it. The main niche for the Husky is parents who want to keep their kids in a 5-point harness beyond the 40 pound limit of most other carseats.

Rear-facing convertibles are the safest choice for most kids under 30-35 pounds. Above that weight range, the Husky is a fine choice as are most front-facing convertible and combination models. We always recommend that the safest model is one that fits your child and vehicle well, so the best choice will vary from one to another;-)
