Snug ride question

I have a snug ride and base , and expecting number 2 in Nov. Here is my question: Do I buy a new base with latch capabilities or stick with what I have? I want my little one to be as safe as possible!!!

A LATCH-compatible base isn't any safer than a non-LATCH base; it's just easier to install. If you can install your non-LATCH base in your car and have it checked out by a CPS tech, you will have done all you can.

I actually have a LATCH Snug Ride, but my car doesn't have LATCH, so we had to install it the old-fashioned way!
