Is there an analogy that can be made about the various Britax car seats?

Specifically, is the Roundabout to the Advantage as the Marathon is to the Wizard?

I really like the Marathon for it's higher height and weight limits, but would also like the easy adjust knob that can be found on the Wizard and the Advantage. I'm a little uncertain, though, of the head restraint wings on the Wizard.

And what's the general concensus on the pronunciation of the name "Britax"? Is it "Bri" as in Bright or "Bri" as in British?

It sounds like you have the seats down pat. If you choose to go with the Marathon, keep in mind that you will only be moving the straps a few times in the years that you use the seat.

The pronunciation of Britax (according to the woman who answers their phone) is with a long "i" - Bri as in Bright.

I would get the Wizard if it were in my budget...I personally just couldn't resist the side impact protection. Very few kids really complain about the head wings, and they are generally older and used to their "freedom", so to speak. Here are some kids who really love the Wizard (not MY kids, though :) )

Though, I totally agree with the other poster, that the dial adjuster isn't the most necessary thing, since changing the harness in the Marathon is a rare and simple event. And even the Marathon (and ALL 5 pt harnessed seats used correctly) DOES offer very good side impact protection, for the most part.

Anyway, I love my Marathon, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anybody :)
