I got this seat for my shower and when my DS was ready for it at about 5/6 months he was too big for it! The straps on this seat are not as long in the rear-facing position and it was just too snug and now room to grow for another 6 months. If you plan on registering for this seat I would make sure it is returnable at a later date, just in case.

Oh, he is a big baby, 90% for height and 70% for weight -so it probably isn't a problem for most babes. But soemthing to be aware of.
