A few months ago some folks had asked about the Combi Tyro infant carseat. I've now been using it about 10 weeks and wanted to give an update of how it is.
Overall I like the seat, it is comfortable for the baby, easy to install and use and seems very secure. i also like the way it looks and i have a long infant, but the seat holds him well, there are a few adjustments for height. I use it with a Combi stroller and it works well, clips on and off easily and matches well.
I have two complaints with it.
1. It is heavy. I haven't used other seats but it is larger than the Graco and some other seats so it is likely heavier.
2. The sun canopy doesn't hold up that well, it bent and frayed a bit after only a few months.
But overall, I am happy with the seat.
