I have a 2 yr old Advantage ( which I think is the same as the RA, but with the headrest). So anyway - I moved it into another car, and put it in the upright position, and when I went to put it back into my car, and recline it... It won't recline.
The handle on the front that you pull seems to be working. It will snap back into the upright position, but I CANNOT get it reclined.
Any ideas?
If it is broken... where do I go from here? Will Britax repair?
I'd hate to think that I paid an arm and a leg, and now it does not function properly.
Thanks for your help.

It's probably best to call 1-888-4BRITAX and ask them. Generally their customer service is pretty good, even without warranty coverage.

I spoke with Britax this morning, and they told me that my recline mechanism was broken. End of story... no fixing - just broken, and I can't recline the seat anymore.
I know I'm out of warranty on it, but I expected a little more after paying $250 for a car seat. :-(
I was hoping to use it reclined rear facing this fall for the new baby, and buy a new marathon for the 2 year old - but this makes me not want to shell out the dough again for a carseat that might not function properly after two years! Aargh.

Wow, that's lame! I wonder if you would get the same response from another customer service rep? They really didn't say you could send it for fixing at your own expense?
