I ordered 2 Marathons! and the cost was ....

$399 shipped and to my door for 2 of them... can you beleive that?? After searching high and low i found a place (babyage) that had them on sale for $219 and then i used a coupon code that was posted here (flamingo) and shipping was $3.95 (i could not use the free shipping code for some reason) .... I feel like a winner ... lol ... We saved over $100 than if i went to BRU to buy them ... I am so happy ... I did check to see if BRU had any on sale like posted here but they didnt. I did go there and made sure they fit in my car and they do ... anyway ... if you gals are looking for one the coupon code is good until June 28th. I got the new blues but i really wanted to get the artic cat but DH said NO WAY! SO I will tell you more about them when they arrive ... So far i have not got an email saying they are on back order so i am hoping all is well ....

Thanks everyone for all the info when i was researching this seat ... I did pass on the info to a friend who is going to get one this week also ...

I also ordered a Stormy Marathon from BabyAge for $219 - then got an additional 10% off with a coupon code AND went through EBATES and got an additional % back!!!!!!

However there was a small problem with shipping, but it did finally arrive about a week late - I emailed babyage when I noticed the problem but never got a response.

Bummer - I checked out Babyage.com, but they won't ship the Marathon to an APO address. I'm having a terrible time finding a company that sells the Marathon seat at a reasonable price and will ship to an APO address for less than an arm and a leg! Any advice?

You can't use two coupon codes. But you can go through ebates (to get the % rebate) and use the flamingo coupon code at the same time.

Thanks for the kind offer - I've considered shipping a carseat to my parents & having them mail it to me or bring it with them when they visit. We bought our last Marathon from the Baby Catalog of America w/our free military membership, shipped it for free to family, then picked it up when we visited. That plan worked great, but I'm not sure we'll go that route this time. Since I'm not due 'til Dec, I'm still keeping my options open.

Hmm... How does that work? I've never used ebates. You go the ebates site, and from there click on babyage and enter the flamingo code so you get the 10% and then you additionally get money back from ebates? TIA!

Yes, though you have to register with ebates first.

I ordered mine yesterday from babyage using Ebates as coupon code for 10% off plus will hopefully get the additional 4% cash back. It's already at the UPS warehouse one suburb north. Delivery pending for Monday. I'm impressed!
