I've tried to read up on this but I'm confused.

My daughter will be three in September- she is 36 inches tall and 27 lbs (tall and skinny). How can I tell when she will outgrow the Britax Advantage/Roundabout? I can't see the shoulder slats since the Advantage his a knob on the side to lift them.

I'm planning on buying a Marathon for her anyway but I'm not sure how soon I need to get it.

Thanks!

I bet she still fits rearfacing, if you want to try it ;)
But otherwise, you'll just have to dial the headrest all the way to the top. How much room is there above her shoulders? Figure 3 inches of total height growth for every one inch of torso growth. You can use it till her shoulders are *just* over the very topmost height position, or till the tops of her ears reach the top of the headrest. I think for most kids, it's anywhere from 38-43 inches tall, depending on whether they carry more of their height in their legs or torso.

Hope that helps a little bit :)
