Our car (Toyota Corolla 03) was parked on the street outside our home. A dumptruck reversing into a driveway clipped the side and tore the rear bumper clean off. Our insurance company, Progressive, said the car seat is fine because there was no weight in it. That sounded logical to DH and I. I just wanted to gather opinions from people, especially the car seat techs on the board, as we are really inexperienced in such matters. Our seat is a Marathon if that makes a difference at all.
