Hi! My 3 yr old is potty training and she had a couple of "peeps" accidents on her seat. I have washed the cover each time and have gotten the smell out but the foam underneath smells. I sprayed it with lysol and then oust but my car still smells of urine. I hate to pull the foam off the seat but I'm not sure what to do to take the smell out.
any suggestions?
Thanks,

I would suggest trying Febreeze. I have had good success getting several different smells out of various things like clothes, furniture, car upolstery. Good luck!!

Maybe try something like Nature's Miracle? They sell it in pet stores to neutralize pet urine smells. It can't hurt.

PLEASE DON'T USE YOUR SEAT WITHOUT THE FOAM!!!! I believe this would seriously compromise the safety of the seat. If nothing else works you can probably contact Britax for a new insert. I can't imagine it would be very expensive (ya never know though!). It is probably a part that they would replace though. Good luck.
