For those of you that are familiar with the britax marathon in the artic car seat cover, do you think it's too girly? I planned on getting that one for my son. Then I read somewhere online that is was a feminine print. I called britax for their opinion and they said in their opinion it was a print for girls. I don't want to get it if it looks girly though. I never thought of it until I read it and then I called britax.

I was going to get it for Colin but decided against it after I felt it - it isn't a very soft print. I expected it to be plush like some of the others, but it wasn't. So we went with something else.

Which print did you go with? I haven't been able to see them in person, so I am only going by the fabric swatches that britax has sent me. The print feels soft in the swatch. I would like one that is plush though. Which ones are, do you know?

I have it for my boy and have not received any negative comments. I think it's just fine! I find it to be very soft and plush too. B loves it and that's all that matters to me!

I looked at it a year and a half ago, so maybe they changed it. We went with Cowmooflage for our Roundabout and the blue dog print (predecessor to Faux Paws) in the Marathon.

We have it and it is very, very soft. I wish I could sit in that soft comfortable seat. I love it and get tons of comments on the seat. I've never heard anyone comment that it was too girly for Noah.

artic cat is much softer/plusher and more velvety than cowmooflauge. (we have both)

Big cat is less soft/plush than cowmoowflauge.

I have every intention of getting that pattern Marathon for my little guy, just waiting for it to go on sale. I fell in love with the Arctic Cat fabric the first time I saw it & love the feel of it (the seat that I felt was very plush, this was in January '03).

I never gave a thought to it's being girly or not...it's grey leopard! When did leopard become girls only? I doubt that my little guy is going to have a gender crisis over his car seat pattern anyway:).

Then again, we also have the Combi Ultra Savvy stroller in leopard. Very rockabilly :)

My 4 month old DS sits in an Arctic Cat MA and I'v never thought it was girly at all. It's grey leopard print, and I wouldn't consider grey to be a girly color. It is VERY soft and plush and was such a nice change from DS's SnugRide! I got it because I liked the print and because it matched the interior of my car. It's never crossed my mind that someone would consider it to be girly. :-)

No way! I'd put my guy in it in a heartbeat. Girls get all the fun stuff, don't let them tell you that it's a girlie car seat cover! :-)
