Snugride w/o base?

Hello-I was looking at thr side of my snugride infant seat last night and there are instructions for installing it in the car without the base. Anyone know if this is safe?? Thanks

Yes, as long as it is installed properly (with less than 1" of movement at the belt path and no more than a 45 degree angle).

Yes, it is safe as long as it is installed correctly as Lori as said above. I found it really easy to do when on vacation. Also if you are using a seatbelt to secure it make sure your seatbelt is locked (usually you pull it out all the way and then let it go and it will automatically lock. If it does not do this you might need to use the locking clip, but check with the manual to be sure).
