Where to install Britax RA in Acura TL?

When I had a car tech look at our Graco Snugride he moved it from the center to behind the passenger seat saying w/my leather seats in my 1999 Acura TL it was a better fit behind the passenger seat - he said there is a slight "bump" in the middle that doesn't allow for the tightest fit. Now that DS has outgrown the snugride we bought the RA, I'm wondering if this will still hold true? We need to put in behind the passenger seat - not in the middle? Can a car seat tech answer this? I did check carseatdata.org & didn't see anything.

Edited to add - DS is still rear facing of course!

The base is narrower on the RA than the snugride, so you could at least give it a try, it might fit just fine on the hump. If it's tilting side to side, then go with the outboard/window seat again, though.
